General Information about Saad National Schools

SNS is licensed by the Ministry of Education of Saudi Arabia to operate as a national school within the Kingdom. It was established by Mr. Maan Abdul Waheed Al Sanea in 1416 Hejri, (1995) in Al Khobar. The school started as a primary school and each subsequent year one more grade level has been added, such at present school houses grades 1 through 12. Currently the student body numbers over 900 with each class having between fifteen and twenty five students; the average number of students being nineteen. The student to staff ratio is 8:1. In 1998, SNS was granted the ISO 9002 award from the Canadian Quality Institute (QMI) in recognition of educational excellence within the school. The Ministry of Education has granted the SN School certificates of distinction for the last five years in a row, in recognition of its distinguished performance.


 

Mission and Quality policy

SNS was established with the intention of being a distinguished institution for providing private education. SNS participates with other institutions educating young men, who believe in Islamic ideals, to acquire current skills, knowledge and attitudes needed for problem solving in the twenty-first century. SNS identifies its philosophy and mission statement as follows:

Saad National Schools attempt to provide distinguished educational services, compared to other private schools, by providing a learning climate which brings about success to the learners. The schools apply the best of what was achieved in the knowledge pertaining to the learning processes. Saad National Schools provide co-operative and interactive climates which meet the different needs of the learners.

Saad National Schools take special care of the students within the context of Islamic principles, making them proud of their religion, Arabic language, national history and the unique task bestowed to their country, i.e., the custody of the two holy mosques.

This prepares the students to lead an active and serious life to shoulder responsibility and to demonstrate leadership in their local communities.

Quality Policy

Saad National Schools are aware of the responsibilities of providing a teaching / learning process of high quality ensuring the achievement of the planned objectives in the teaching / learning process. This is in harmony with the ambitions of parents, meeting their expectations in the education and learning of their children.

This quality policy could be achieved through:

  • Application of the curricula prescribed by the Ministry of Education.
  • Reinforcing the existing curriculum with supplementary subjects, including English, Math & Science in English and other activities.
  • Building the independent and integrated personality of the learner.
  • Promoting continuing communication with parents and students.
  • Commitment to apply and implement the documented procedures that are related to the requirements of the International Quality System ISO 9002.
  • Improving the staff efficiency and developing their skills through periodic training.
  • Continuous work to develop the educational system by directing the efforts and investments to achieve state-of-the-art programs and facilities.
  • Advancing the quality of education.
  • Implementing an ongoing improvement plan along lines specified by the Commission on International and Trans-Regional Accreditation (CITA). Saad National Schools has been approved as a candidate for accreditation by CITA.
